i would chalk this down to lack of attention span for this type of content. i did watch 5-6 episodes one time. it looked solid (my old college self would have binge watched this) - but it didn't intrigue me enough to keep me going.
for example, breaking bad/succession/silo and some other thrillers in the last decade kept me going after every episode - wire is different.
